The NBA season is just under two weeks away and as usual, hopes are high in New York City about the fate of the Knicks.

Gone is Carmelo Anthony and Phil Jackson and this is now the Kristaps Porzingis era at Madison Square Garden.

However, this week sports network FS1 bought an ad campaign on the New York Subway to remind Knicks fans that their team is still probably going to suck.

FS1 don’t have any NBA rights, so the purpose of the campaign is to get Knicks fans to think about watching their programming including MLB, Big East and Big 10 college basketball and UEFA Champions League soccer before watching Knicks games on MSG or nationally televised NBA games on TNT and ESPN.

It’s surprising that the ad was approved and it’s hard to see it staying up for long as there’s IP infringements for dayzzzz… But the damage has been done.
