Kristaps Porzingis is keeping New York Knicks fans on their toes after reports emerged last week that he skipped his end of season exit interview.
The 7-foot-3 Latvian has not addressed the situation with the Knicks and is keeping his cards close to his chest.
“It’s not the right moment to comment on anything (about it),” he told Marc Berman of The New York Post.
“I don’t want to say anything.”
Whilst the initial reports rightly had Knicks fans nervous, Porzingis gave them a sigh of relief, assuring everybody that he very much plans on remaining a Knick.
“Of course, I love New York. I love New York,” Porzingis added.
The 21-year-old was not shy about calling out the team’s lack of chemistry earlier in the season, telling reporter’s that his teammates don’t trust each other.
Porzingis is clearly the future of the franchise, so the Knicks would be wise to take note of their star players gripes.
However, this is New York, so who knows.
