With 2.5 seconds left on the clock, and the San Antonio Spurs trailing the Portland Trail Blazers by two points, Manu Ginobili went to do what every NBA player does in this situation, intentionally miss a free-throw to try and regain posession to give his team a shot at forcing overtime or picking up the win.

However, unfortunately for Manu and the Spurs, it went horribly wrong.

Manu botched the attempt and accidentally sunk the free throw.

This pretty much lost confirmed the Spurs lost the game. On the next posession, Damian Lillard would get fouled by Kawhi Leonard and hit his next two free-throws to give the Blazers a 110-106 win.

The faces on the Spurs bench say it all.
