Russell Westbrook dropped a career-high 58 points, but it wasn’t enough to give the Oklahoma City Thunder a win as the lost 126-121 to the Portland Trail Blazers last night.

Westbrook also finished with nine assists and went 13 of 16 from the free throw line.

Allen Crabbe top-scored for the Blazers with 23 points, Damian Lillard had 22 and C.J. McCollum 21, who won their third straight game.

The Blazers shot 55% from the field and basically forced Westbrook into being a one-man band for the Thunder.

“When you see the stats, Russ got like 60 or whatever,” Jusuf Nurkic said after the game. “I give him 80, we still have to win. I respect what he does, but I’m happy for our team.”
