With the playoffs right around the corner, the Cleveland Cavaliers aren’t done tweaking their roster.

In the wake of Andrew Bogut’s season-ending leg injury, the Cavs are reportedly planning on waiving the Australian big man, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.

Defensive-minded shooting guard DeAndre Liggins may also be cut to open another roster spot, depending on the Cavs next move.

They reportedly won’t make any roster moves until they return from their three-game road trip, which ends Monday AEDT against the Houston Rockets.

Former Milwaukee Bucks centre Larry Sanders has emerged as the best fit to replace Bogut’s rim protection and worked out for the Cavs last month.

Sanders, who retired in the middle of the 2014/15 season is determined to make a comeback and sliding into the Cavs roster is not a bad way to do it.
