There’s been some amazing storylines developing over the last few days of the NBA season, so Ben and Tim sit down to sift through all the new chatter. After drooling over the Memphis Grizzlies and how they made the Warriors look beatable, providing a blueprint and going 2-0 against the “best team ever” on the season, the conversation shifts to another potentially elite team in the Houston Rockets and their Goliath, James Harden.

What follows is an examination of both conferences in a broader perspective, kicked off by the separation beginning to occur in the East by some of the teams we thought would rise above at the start of the season, namely Boston and Atlanta. The same cannot be said for Portland and some other battlers in the West, as a real last man standing situation is beginning to develop for the final spot in the Western Conference playoffs, as the Blazers battle the likes of New Orleans and Sacramento, among others, for that coveted final spot.
